Ti Tree Bioenergy is a joint venture between two of Australia’s leading waste management companies, Veolia Environmental Services (Australia) Pty Ltd and JJ Richards and Sons Pty Ltd. Between them they employ some 5000 men and women, and have a combined annual turnover of more than $800 million in Australia and New Zealand.

Veolia Environmental Services (Australia) Pty Ltd is part of the international group Veolia Environnement, which is a world leader in environmental management, while JJ Richards and Sons Pty Ltd is the largest privately owned waste management company in Australia.

The joint venture has access to international expertise and experience through its association with the Veolia Environnement. Veolia Environnement has an annual turnover of more than A$65 billion and an environmental services staff of more than 220,000 people worldwide. Veolia companies operate some 20 bioreactor facilities worldwide, and are at the forefront of bioreactor technology.
